Installation
To install LiveChat on your Squarespace website:

Log into your Squarespace account and choose the website to which you want to add LiveChat.

Select Settings.

Select Extensions.

Search for LiveChat.

Select Connect.

Select the website you want to install LiveChat on.

Select Allow to proceed.

Create a LiveChat account or log in with existing credentials.

Select the website you want to display the chat on.

Toggle Chat Enabled to finish the installation.
That’s it! From now on, a chat window will show up on your website!

Cart View
A detailed cart view lets you see what your customers bring in their carts to your chat line. The cart is updated automatically and instantly whenever customers add or remove their cart contents. This way, you can manage your conversations efficiently and power up sales with live data.
In order for the cart view to update its contents, your customers will have to either reload the page they are currently browsing or go to any other page on your website. Such action will reload the integration script which will, in turn, resend the updated cart content to the LiveChat app.

You’ll find the cart information in every active chat on the right-hand Details panel. Select the Squarespace icon to expand the detailed cart view.
Selecting an item from the customer’s cart will immediately take you to the product page on your website.
