At LiveChat, we’re on a mission to provide communication without barriers, and a core part of this is our awareness and knowledge of inclusivity and accessibility standards. To effectively support this idea, we provide the LiveChat Accessibility Conformance Report (based on VPAT standard - Voluntary Product Accessibility Template), which includes an audit of our core component — namely, the chat widget that forms part of our LiveChat customer service platform. VPAT affirms for our customers that our chat widget is compliant with the WCAG 2.1 AA standard.
What that means for you?
Accessibility is the practice of making your websites usable by as many people as possible. When we say that LiveChat’s product is accessible, it means that the websites, tools, and technologies are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them.
Please note that this document is presented for information purposes only and the contents hereof are subject to change without notice. LiveChat hereby specifically disclaims any liability with respect to this document, and no contractual obligations are created either directly or indirectly by this document. WCAG 2.1 AA standard applies to LiveChat’s chat widget only and does not demonstrate the compatibility of applications from the Marketplace with this standard.
Furthermore, please be aware that compliance with accessibility standards may require some additional setup in the application. You can access more information in this regard here.
